This place is phenomenal, let me tell you. We rented the Americana cabin for three nights and it was so cozy! The staff is just a guy, his wife, and a cleaning lady. If you like, he’ll give you a history of the cabins (they’re more than a hundred years old! But the inside is updated so it’s quite comfortable). If you’re staying in South Fork, this is the place. Such a wonderful small town.

These cabins are great! The owners are super personable and available. The rates are extremely reasonable. We were there over Christmas. We needed more wood for the fireplace. I was able to contact them and get more wood without any problem. We will definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay in South Fork, for my review below we stayed in the Santa Cabin. Pros -Great location - minutes from hiking, Wolf Creek, and basically anything you’d like outdoors -reasonably priced for what you are getting and the location it is in -extremely friendly owners with great communication before and during your stay -mini kitchen (no sink) including fridge and microwave and little kitchen area -Most cabins (besides Santa) are dog friendly but always good to double check before your stay -Cabin has little grill, fireplace -During summer months there are plenty of r/v and camping spots in addition to the cabins Cons -In the end it’s a historic cabin that has been updated throughout the years so don’t expect a 4 star lodging. -To he point above no A/C for summer stays Overall it was a great place to stay with extremely friendly owners. We will 100% be back for future trips and looking forward to it!
